The face is what forbids us to kill

This part will present the individual portraits of the young girls, most of them have been students of the Gymnasium Yavne of Telz between 1920 and 1940. Some of them have been identified thanks to the survivors or on photographs of their personal collection or on photographs collected by the author and presented to them. Others had an id photograph on the certificate or diploma in the collection of documents recently discovered in Lithuanian Central Archives in Vilnius. The lists published in the Sefer Telz, available at Yad Vashem and at United States Holocaust Memorial Museum are also consulted and checked.
